Nextap – startup environment brimming with ideas

We like startups and we’re happy to help another company from Pardubice, Feedyou, with their Chatbot project – a chat app for easier employee recruitment.

The Chatbot project was initiated by Nextap meeting Feedyou (formerly Angitu) who had been helping us with our recruitment campaign. When discussing our next campaign over lunch, we came up with the idea of automatizing the whole process and thus making it more efficient with the use of a chatting app. We suggested using a set of questions and answers. Feedyou took inspiration in this idea and, shortly after our lunch, started working on the app together with Nextap.

At the beginning of our cooperation, our dev Pedro created an initial prototype of the mobile app. Later, Pedro became one of the main developers of the Chatbot’s web administrator section. His task is to co-create the Chatbot’s management system and to create the inner structure of the system containing chat trees of questions and answers. Thanks to this the user can easily edit content – add, create and modify questions and answers for the applicants.

New projects bring new challenges which we need to tackle. Pedro says one of them is, for example, finding a suitable library: “Finding the right library for the drag and drop function wasn’t easy. The majority of libraries did not handle all the things I needed them to handle. The library I’m using now does handle them, but works differently than what I'm used to, so there is additional work with integration,” Pedro describes the developer’s never ending fight with libraries. “I enjoy working on the Chatbot – I’m getting better at what I do. I often discuss my work with the client which gives me more influence over the final product.”
