Steller – Best App of 2019
Steller has received many awards. The app was featured at the Apple Keynote 2019 and was also included in the Best Apps of 2019 list a few months later. Steller is also a holder of the App Store Editors’ Choice and Best New App awards. In 2014, Steller was featured by Apple as a showcase app on the new iPhone 6 in Apple Retail Stores and was named for the first time one of the Best Apps of 2014 by Apple.
Our mark in Steller
We first started working on Steller for iOS as contractors, but as the time went, we gradually took over the whole development process and expanded our work into other fields – we create the app’s graphics (read more in an article on our blog, develop native apps for iOS and Android, web and maintain the backend. The whole development currently takes place in Czechia, which makes Nextap the main development partner of Steller.

„Tell a Story, Plant a Tree“
In fall 2019, Steller announced a partnership with tentree, a North American company producing sustainable clothing, to launch a global campaign to support the planting of new trees called „Tell a Story, Plant a Tree“ to support reforestation efforts. For each tentree theme sold in the Steller app, tentree plants trees in regions with critical reforestation needs, such as the Peruvian Amazon, Madagascar, Haiti and many others. Tentree hopes to plant one billion trees by 2030, and Steller is an important factor in achieving that goal.
