Viktor Šmídl

CEO

Viktor is the boss. He loves his job and has a head full of ideas. A perfectionist to the core who accepts nothing less than perfection. He leads with a firm hand, but at the same time is up for every mischief.

Martin Kendík

COO

Martin is Viktor’s right hand man. He’s in charge of administration, HR, leads some projects, and ensures that day-to-day operations in the office go smoothly. He’s always on top of things and trains his patience playing nine-ball.

Adam, a lover of fine coffee with a racer’s soul is firstly a technology enthusiast. When coding, he gives the processors a hard time with his lightning coding speed but he’s mostly easy on his four-wheeled darling.

David is a beast – not only when working out at the gym, but also when working on our iOS projects. He's so good at it that.

Lead Designer

David is the design soul of Nextap. He is a laid-back guy with his own style, but when it comes to design, he likes order and impeccability. He relishes discussing new ideas which he never seems to be short of.

Lead Frontend Developer

Pedro is a frontend guy to his fingertips. He is no soft touch, but a tough native of Chlumec who likes cars, bikes and his trumpet. He doesn't fiddle about and his wisecracks and code are legendary!

Vladimír Zahradník

Lead Backend Developer

AI and neural network specialist Vláďa knows how to score. As a teen, he would regularly put on ice-skates and chased a puck; today in Nextap he leads the Backend team and his main objective is to always be goal-orientated.

Aleksandra Cieslik

Designer

Alex has an adventurous spirit. As an aspiring designer from Poland she went to try her luck in the world and found it right away in Nextap! Since then she has relentlessly overcome UI and UX pitfalls of Android and iOS.

Pavlo Bieliaiev

Designer

Promoter of Figma, design system enthusiast, and occasional philosopher Paša started out in Czechia as a factory worker. After a year long internship in Nextap, he hang up his overalls for good and joined the Nextap team.

Karolína Kučerová

Designer

Kája is our walking Macmillan Dictionary. She has a good head on her shoulders. Kája studied English in Brno, but since nothing really happens in Brno, at Nextap she does graphic design, translates texts and wins foosball tournaments.

Ion Ciubaciuc

Frontend Developer

Ion moved from Moldavia to Czechia to pursue neurosurgical studies. In the end, he graduated in IT and since then has been on a different path. At work he overcomes the pitfalls of React, and in his free time he enjoys paragliding.

Matěj Půhoný

Frontend Developer

Matěj deserves a skillfulness badge, and not just in programming. He started as a Padawan but soon became an integral part of Nextap. On top of that, as a true scout leader he excels in making a fire and wood chopping.

Vojta Šišma

Frontend Developer

Vojta is a proper sportsman. As a runner and cyclist he’s not afraid of obstacles on the road and at work. In Nextap, he started out as a high-school intern, then moved to a Padawan, and now is a Frontend developer building websites.

Bára Šmídlová

Marketing Specialist

Bára is in charge of marketing. She ensures that the world knows what's going on at Nextap. You can find her running around the office, interviewing people and taking pictures. She also makes sure we don't run low on food supplies.

Viktor Kadeřábek

iOS Developer

Viktor is a globetrotter. He lived and worked in various parts of the world. When he’s not coding, he’s paragliding. One never knows where the wind will take him. He eventually landed in Nextap and expanded our iOS dev team.

Kateřina Součková

HR Specialist

Káťa is the first person future Nextap-ers come into contact with. When she’s not tying knots and mountaineering, she’s looking for new people to join our team, replying to applicants, and inviting them to interviews.

Michal Říha

PM PADAWAN

Michal is our young promising project manager. He is in charge of internal projects as well as the office so that everything here in Nextap runs like clockwork.

Jindra Jakubička

INFRASTRUCTURE PADAWAN

Jindra is our technical support guy. He takes care of the internet, sets computers... His knowledge and skills from the School of Electrical Engineering definitely come in handy now.
