Foosapp’s first time in public

The beginning of November was an important time for Foosapp, our foosball app. Foosapp went public for the first time at Cannafest 2018 at PVA Expo in Prague! We were stationed in the FTB.cz exhibition stand where we presented the app along with several foosball tables from FTB.cz so the passers-by could play foosball and try out the app.

The preparations had been on since September; however, the main preparations started about two weeks before the event. You can read more about the initial event plans in our previous article. When the D-day finally came, we loaded the car with promo materials, phones as well as tablets to have something to test on and a TV stand for statistics preview, and then, full of expectations, set out to Prague. The goal was clear – to show Foosapp to the public. There were many unknowns though: How will the people react? Will they want to use it? Will everything go smoothly?

We put on our Foosapp polos, installed a brand new roll-up, put App Store and Google Play stickers on the tables and laid out Foosapp badges, which were almost immediately gone!

We were leaving the three-day event, where several tens of people tried out Foosapp, with many positive feelings, with knowing that people were interested, with valuable feedback and suggestions for further development. We reassured ourselves that Foosapp has meaning and will bring value.

Based on the feedback from our first public presentation, we know what to improve and what to focus on. We are also preparing for and looking forward to cooperating with our partner on other events. The next event we're going to is Czech Leonhart Open VII, which is taking place at the beginning of December at Pankrác. Up until then keep following us on social media and the web!
